The world first became obsessed with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie when they starred in the reality TV show, The Simple Life.
The series, which aired from 2003 to 2005 on FOX and from 2006 to 2007 on E!, was about two IRL wealthy socialites—the great-granddaughter of the founder of Hilton Hotels and Lionel Richie's adoptive daughter—who struggled with everyday jobs such as cleaning rooms, farm work, camp counselors, and much more.
The Simple Life was a hit around the world but after its last episode in 2007, the BFFs went their separate ways. Richie, now 36, is married to Good Charlotte frontman, Joel Madden and together have two children. Hilton, 37, is engaged to actor Chris Zylka. But because the universe is good to us, Hilton and Richie have reunited after 15 years and it's glorious!
It's the reunion of the decade! #ParisHilton and #NicoleRichie together again. Fingers crossed for a Simple Life reboot! 🙏🏼
A photo of the two stars was posted on the show's official Twitter account with the following caption: "It's the reunion of the decade! @ParisHilton & @NicoleRichie together again. Fingers crossed for a Simple Life reboot!"
In a heartbeat, Twitter exploded:
A reunion would be cool, right? Or in the words of Paris: "That's hot!"
