Do you love getting your swear on throughout the day at the most inappropriate places, like your child’s daycare or your office? Sounds like you might need to make swearing less your resolution for 2018, you potty mouth.
If you want to learn how to curb your cursing and be the sweetest, most non-cursing motherfudger around, stick to these 3 simple hacks.
1. Use a swear jar.
One of the best ways to keep track of just how much you curse in a day is by keeping a swear jar either on your desk at work or in your home, and just putting in a quarter per time you curse. See how much $$$ you have at the end of the week, and it’ll definitely make you want to stop. Think of all the lattes those words could buy you!
2. Snap yourself with a rubber band.
Did you just catch yourself calling someone a b*tch? Keep a rubber band around your wrist and when you notice you’re cursing, give it a slight snap against your wrist. That will make you want to stop cursing. It will also make you aware of how much you curse and what tends to trigger it.
3. Let your friend flick you.
Tell a friend that you’re trying to watch your cursing, and then tell them to let you know when you say a bad word. They can either tell you, or you can give them permission to flick your arm, pull your hair, yell at you, or whatever your strange friendship calls for.
