Elon Musk Is Reportedly Illegally Preventing His Children From Seeing Their Mother, Grimes

Before we get to the substance of this article, I’m going to make another pitch to those who are still active on it to quit Twitter. Not for moral or ethical reasons (although that, too), but because it’s a lousy platform and I don’t like spending time there. We only auto-tweet there, but I still check it because there are still a few people there that I like to keep up with, most of whom are a part of this community or related to it. And listen, I know you may have a lot of followers and don’t feel like starting all over, and I get it. But also, Twitter is tiny, relative to other social media sites (it ranks 12th, at this point); it’s just bots, SPAM, misinformation, antisemitism, and blue checks dominating the conversation. But as Mina Kimes has noted, it still has a small amount of clout because many in the media still hang out there, probably because they don’t want to rebuild their following somewhere else.

Threads now has an API, so most media sites are there. A lot of the journalists have moved over there, too, and while it is Zuck-owned, it is a lot more chill; I never see MAGA over there, and it’s much better moderated. Follow us, and I’ll assume that anyone who follows us in the next 24 hours is part of the Pajiba community, and I’ll follow back.

But back to the moral and ethical reasons: Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, is a bad man. He is now promoting anti-Kamala Harris deepfakes against the policy of his own company, which by the way has lost 82 percent of its value since he took over. Musk is also saying some truly unhinged shit over there right now, too. “Shamala is an extinctionist,” he wrote over the weekend. “The natural extension of her philosophy would be a de facto holocaust for all of humanity!” He’s not even Christian, but tweeting things like, “Unless there is more bravery to stand up for what is fair and right, Christianity will perish.” Musk is so sweaty to elect Trump that he even drew winces from fellow billionaires for promoting Trump’s candidacy.

He’s appalling. Look no further than the comments he made about his trans daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, which elicited a spectacular response from Wilson, whom Musk said that he’d disowned. One person who showed support for Wilson was Musk’s ex-partner, Grimes, with whom Musk has three children.

Over on Threads, Wilson helped to promote a Twitter thread from the mother of Grimes (whose real name is Claire), because Musk has apparently taken the kids he shares with Grimes away and is using his finances to prevent them from seeing each other. This means even preventing his kids from being with their great-grandmother who is in palliative care and about to die, because reportedly, Musk cancelled a trip for them to see their great-grandmother after Grimes expressed support for Wilson.

Hello everyone, I’m going to forego my standard tone for this because this is important. As you may or may not know, Grimes is currently in a custody battle with Elon over their 3 children. What you probably don’t know, however, is that Elon has been illegally and continuously keeping their children, her children, away from their mother during the most important developmental period in a child’s life.

While Elon has been irresponsibly partying across the ocean in the very country he’s spitting contemptuous poison about, Grimes’ children are stuck in a house thousands of miles away without their mother. This is potentially [irreversibly] damaging to a child’s psyche and is, without question, a despicable form of abuse. This is not the first time this has happened and if nothing changes, likely not the last.

I’ve only been able to catch glimpses of this from behind the scenes and it has been both horrifying and enraging that no one has been able to do anything about it. I cannot stress this enough, this is ILLEGAL. He does not have the custody to be able to do this. Yet, since Elon has an infinite amount of funds to pool from, he has been able to successfully employ them to take their children away from the mother that they desperately require. This needs to end, now.

X has been paraded around social media solely for the purpose of boosting his own brand image of “responsible father” when that could not be further from the truth. Meanwhile, behind the scenes he is both uncaring and absent while robbing their children of a mother. Please, do not let this continue. Thank you

Obviously, we cannot confirm any of the legal details of the custody battle. We only have the information that Wilson and Grimes’ mother have provided, but they are certainly more trustworthy than the guy who basically spent $44 billion to turn a social-media outlet into a Trump ad (seriously, Musk has even added pro-Trump icons for Trump hashtags).
