'Texas Forever' is Looking Rough

American Primeval on Netflix at 3:01am ET. Series premiere. I was vaguely interested in this as I remembered it as a Peter Berg and Taylor Kitsch project and maybe we’ll get some of that Tim Riggins energy. But then I checked the cast list for this show about the “sometimes violent clash between religion and culture” in the American West and noticed that Kim Coates is playing BRIGHAM YOUNG. I am familiar with the history of the Church of Latter Day Saints and if they’re talking about THOSE clashes then things are gonna get wild.

The Pitt on Max at 3:01am ET. Series premiere. Noah Wyle playing an ER doctor again. I guess we all just revert to what we know sometimes.
