Vivek Ramaswamy Enlists Jake Paul To Help Feed Off Your Hatred

Heels are integral to the success of professional wrestling. A “Heel” is a term for a villain or “bad guy/gal.” A Face is a hero or “good guy/gal.” I assume this gets discussed often on one of Dustin’s favorite shows. A heel can turn a stadium of people against them with a smirk or a gesture. They generate heat, knowing that a boo is just as valuable as a cheer. One of the most successful wrestling heels in recent memory is Logan Paul.

The shameless YouTuber made his way into the wrestling world in 2021, albeit in a smaller capacity. By 2022, he was wrestling full-on matches and displaying legitimate wrestling talent. Not only did he showcase incredible skill as an in-ring performer, but Paul quickly recognized his advantage: People f***ing hated him. All he needed to do was flash that s***-eating grin, and fans would boo him incessantly.

Hating the Paul brothers is a national unifier. They’re successful for pulling stupid pranks and being unrepentant pieces of s***. Logan made the fiscally beneficial move of leaning into how much people hate him. Jake hasn’t realized his true value yet, but Vivek Ramaswamy has.

Ramaswamy has spent most of his campaign for President referring to the heel playbook. It makes sense. The man wants to be Trump badly, and Trump does the same thing. Vivek makes outrageous, hateful, dangerous claims and comments with a smile. He does terrible karaoke to an Eminem song. He generates heat like a true heel. It only makes sense that he would turn to Jake Paul to increase that heat.

Paul took to TikTok to post a video with Ramaswamy where they do a stupid dance. Through text, he claims that Ramaswamy is connecting with younger voters because he can point his fingers from side to side without breaking them. It is as cringe as cringe can be. The two manage to look lamer than any embarrassing parent who whipped and nay nayed back in 2015. It is Grade A Prime Choice Loser s***.

I assume that Vivek knows how bad it looks. That’s why he’s doing it. Like any “good” heel, he wants that hate, and this is how he will get it. Instead, it looks like Jake is painfully not in on the joke because he is the joke. Ramaswamy is using Paul with precision. He’s raising his profile and riling up the crowd. It would be funny if he wasn’t running for one of the most powerful positions in the world.
