A slightly more niche topic(s) today on AskReddit, and your mileage may vary, but to those sympathetically inclined, it may well give a boost of some much needed and scarce optimism, as Reddit asks the question: ‘Scientists of Reddit: What’s a discovery that should have blown people’s minds but somehow got a collective shrug from the world?’ Some of the responses over-exaggerate the scale of the the shrug in question, but nevertheless, the broad sweep of the point remains.
