Eric Adams Hits New Low as He Swipes at Kilmar Abrego Garcia

I don’t know how to fix a car. Like, at all. I’ve had to jump-start mine a couple of times with a portable battery, once with a neighbor’s car, and that’s as far as my knowledge extends. So, when I see someone else working on a car, I can’t even begin to understand it. It looks weird to me. I know what a car is and that they have an engine and stuff, but getting in there, getting my hands dirty, and working with wrenches and tire irons (I assume) until the car is up and running seems like magic I’d never be capable of. I look at it with wonder and even a little jealousy. It’s the same way NYC Mayor Eric Adams looks at actual leaders.

If you are unfamiliar with the New York City Mayor, consider yourself truly blessed. He’s a career cop who made his way into office by saying he was a Democrat while stoking fears with a Republican playbook. If you ever hear someone refer to NYC as “crime-ridden” or “overrun with migrants” or other such nonsense, know that the city’s own mayor helped push that false narrative so he can give more money to the NYPD and set fire to libraries (the latter is a smidge of an exaggeration, but not much). He’s also cartoonishly corrupt.

While I won’t detail Adams’ corruption charges here, they are important to note. For a while, it seemed like he might face *gasp* consequences for his actions. Then, he bent the knee to the Trump administration, and the charges were dismissed with the caveat that the government could bring them back up if they wanted to. In short, Adams was turned into a puppet for Trump’s evil agenda. A judge has since dismissed the charges with prejudice, so Adams can’t be strong-armed as easily. But Adams is not a leader, so he’s still kissing their asses and spreading their lies.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a Maryland father who was sent to a prison in El Salvador as a part of President Trump’s authoritarian policies. People in the United States have been working to bring him home, with Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen flying to El Salvador and insisting he get to see Garcia and make sure he is still alive. The government of El Salvador eventually relented, and Van Hollen was able to meet with Garcia. Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador, tried to make the meeting look like paradise.

Van Hollen said that Bukele’s people attempted to have the meeting by a hotel pool. When that didn’t happen, some of Bukele’s people brought “alcoholic beverages” with salted or sugar rims and cherries. Bukele then shared a picture of this, claiming Van Hollen and Garcia were enjoying their time in El Salvador. Even without Van Hollen’s clarification, anyone should be able to look at those photos and tell they’re bulls***. Neither of the men looks to be enjoying themselves (because one has been imprisoned in a foreign country for no reason). The “drinks” are clearly just water. Only an idiot would fall for it, and only the biggest rubes on the planet would parrot the accusations. Enter Eric Adams!

“It’s time for all of us to ask the question, particularly those who are in government who find it more convenient to have a tequila drink with someone who’s a gang member: Which side are you on?” the Mayor said on Tuesday. “Let me tell you something, I won’t have a tequila drink with a gang member. I won’t be hanging out with them and hugging them.” He said this while standing next to Trump’s border czar Tom Homan. I’d say one of Honan’s hands was firmly inserted into Adams’ lower back and moving his mouth, but Adams is the kind of puppet who will happily debase himself on his own.

I’m not surprised that Adams is taking shots at Van Hollen. Cowards will often decry true leadership. He has built his mayoral career by persecuting people. To see someone grow a spine and fight for his constituents must look as foreign to Adams as a carburetor looks to me.
