Elon Musk Treated Jon Stewart Like His Children and Ignored Him

To paraphrase Maya Angelou, when someone tells you who they are, listen. Elon Musk has been telling us who he is for some time now. In fairness to some people who used to lift him up as some planet-saving genius, he enticingly lied to them. Who wouldn’t want to “save the world” while showing off how financially secure they are? But the sheen of Musk’s savior persona wore off significantly, and when he realized this he turned into who he really is: an oligarch-loving, ketamine-adled bad father and Nazi.

That’s not my personal opinion; this is all by his own admission. He has waxed on about how helpful ketamine was to him. His support of Donald Trump’s growing stranglehold on the U.S. is a feature, not a bug. The man threw up a goddamn Nazi salute, twice, and you can’t convince me otherwise. And, of course, Musk claimed his daughter Vivian Wilson was killed by the ‘woke mind virus’, even though she’s happily living her life (just not the way he wants). Those are all smaller examples, but they prove everything I wrote.

Another thing that’s easy to prove about Elon Musk is that he is a stone-cold coward. He has shown us time and time again. His ego cannot handle being challenged in the slightest. Instead of trying to prove whatever bullshit point he’s trying to make, he’ll revert to swearing when challenged. And that’s if he tries to defend himself at all. It’s the coward’s way of insisting you have a point. There’s no strength or substance there, just a sad man who wants people to tell him how great he is, and that’s it.

Case in point, Musk criticized The Daily Show and Jon Stewart, from afar. He called the show “propaganda,” but flirted with the idea of sitting down there for an interview. Like everything he’s claimed to want that isn’t self-serving, it sounds like his potential sitdown was another lie. “Judging from his most recent revelations of his baby mamas, I think everyone has been left on read at some point by that gentleman,” Stewart revealed recently on The Weekly Show podcast. “I got left on read, man,” he explained, claiming that Musk saw his question but didn’t respond.

Musk claimed he would go on the show if his interview aired unedited, but that already stacks the deck against the show with a nonsense accusation. “He said, ‘I’ll come on the show if you air it unedited.’ And we went, ‘Sure, fine. That’s how most of them are, so sure, what the f***?” Stewart noted on the podcast. “And then he said, ‘You’re propaganda,’ and he started to back away. I said, ‘Look, you come on or don’t come on, but don’t pretend like it’s, I don’t live up to a standard.” It was a cowardly move, one that Musk will likely lean on as an excuse.

His chode followers eat up everything he says. If he claims The Daily Show is propaganda, then it’s their fault he stuck his tail between his legs and ran, and not his. As Stewart notes later, after explaining that Musk had ghosted him, the host learned that Musk was stepping back from government because, as he claims, the left is too mean. “If there’s one thing that this administration does better than anybody I’ve ever seen, it’s play the victim,” Stewart responded. “I’ve never seen any people ever, including when my kids were three and two years old, evade accountability and responsibility and blame others in the way that these people do. It’s truly shameless.”

He’s right! We can ignore the unnecessary pain and suffering Musk has inflicted on human beings through his government work, because he doesn’t seem to care about that. To them, that was successful. But, he unquestionably bungled a Wisconsin Supreme Court race for Republicans. That was all on him. But he’ll just ignore that. Just like he ignored Jon Stewart, and just like he ignores his 200+ “legion” of children.
