A New 'The Last of Us' Trailer Sounds the Alarm for Season 2

The Last Of Us Season 1 ended with Joel (Pedro Pascal) saving Ellie (Bella Ramsey) from experimental surgery, probably condemning the rest of humanity to be consumed by cordyceps in the process. Decisions had to be made. And sometimes the needs of the many do not outweigh the needs of the few. Or the one in this case. Based on the new trailer for season 2, it doesn’t look like that decision works out too well for anyone who isn’t Ellie.

Kaitlyn Dever joins the cast as Abby for the new season, along with Jeffrey Wright, Tati Gabrielle (The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina), Danny Ramirez (The Falcon And The Winter Soldier). Catherine O’Hara is also rumored to be making an appearance.

The Last of Us II game takes place five years after the events of game one, so we can assume season 2 of the show will make the same time jump.

The Last Of Us will premiere on MAX sometime in April.
