Millennials everywhere, rejoice! Disney World is opening a new land in honor of every '90s kids favorite movie: Toy Story.
Toy Story Land has been in the works since spring 2016 and it's finally coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fla. this year. The news of the new park was announced at the 2015 D23 Expo. Construction officially began on April 3, 2016. Disney park goers will soon explore the wonderful world of Andy's backyard filled with the beloved toys from the Toy Story films.
Set to be around 11 acres, Toy Story Land is expected to open in the summer of 2018. Here are other things you can expect:

The best part of the upcoming attraction is being able to hang out with some of Andy's favorite toys! Back in November of 2017, Jessie and Rex became the first “Toy Story” characters to be installed in Toy Story Land as part of the Slinky Dog roller coaster.
A similar version of Toy Story Land already exists at Walt Disney Studios Park in France and Hong Kong Disneyland. We can't wait to see this iconic squad come to the states, TBH!
