The Rub' al Khali, aka "Empty Quarter", is the largest sand desert in the world. Spent a day hiking its massive dunes and sleeping under the stars. ⭐️⭐️ ••••••••••••••••••••• Camera: @sonyalpha A7Rii Lens: Sony 16-35mm F4 ••••••••••••••••••••• #Oman #emptyquarter
There’s no way this is real.
I'm standing outside of a temple listening to monks chant in a language I don't understand. As their voices rise I'm struck by the beautiful diversity of spaces we find sacred. In silence or song, together or alone, here's to the places we each find peace. - From exploring the The Wave with (photo by) @travisburkephotography. I know he's already shared a few of my favorites of this day so I hope you guys don't mind me sharing one more.💛
This looks straight out of a professional pottery class. Are professional pottery classes even a thing?
Aurora Borealis Iceland
Dreamy aurora night at Stokksnes, Iceland. That's a panoramic photo of 3 vertical shots, f/2.8 10 s iso 1600 each, slightly lighted by headlamp from right side to reveal black sand dunes texture. I refuse to believe this is real unless I see it IRL.
New Zealand Boulders
That's not an alien spacecraft, but very close to it 👽 Moeraki boulders are very strange rounded formations in New Zealand. Seems to be nonterrestrial to me. Danielkordan.com #newzealand #moerakiboulders #moeraki
They want us to believe it’s a boulder, but it’s really just a UFO.
Muir Woods is a short drive from downtown San Francisco — chosen by @travelandleisure readers as a World’s Best US city. Arrive when the park first opens, when it is free for the first hour, between 8-9 AM. It might not be a long drive but once you're inside, past the wood arch and underneath soaring Redwood trees, it feels as if it's another world away. The city has so many great parks and all make it a world class city but Muir Woods being so close gives it an advantage few others possess. @CapitalOne #MapYourMoment #ad
Is this the set of Twilight or nah?

"We took off from the red earth of Tsingy's limestone forest, embarking on a journey to experience and admire one of the most diverse landscapes in the world — from flowing emerald waterways to gigantic Baobab trees on the dry African grassland. Madagascar is an island that separated from the continent millions of years ago, and from above its beauty was spellbinding." @journeysbychance Mozambique Channel, Indian Ocean #passionpassport
Straight out of the mind of Dr. Seuss.
