Just as it took a long time for the royal baby's name to be revealed, we're recently getting a look at his birth certificate. The document has the baby's full name plus his position, which with only a few weeks old already has a greater responsibility than many of us: His Royal Highness Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge. Like all babies, the hospital documents not only have the name, but also the information of their parents, and in this case, they are very interesting.
The document includes a section for parents "occupation". We assume that in any normal case it would say "lawyer," "hairdresser," or "doctor," but not in this case, because we are talking about British royalty. Instead, the professions, Kate's and William's job titles read: "Princess of the United Kingdom" and "Prince of the United Kingdom"
Huh? Princess Kate?
It's a bit confusing, anyway, because although we know that Kate's occupation is being part of royalty, her title is Duchess. The profession of a princess does not apply to her, knowing that in reality, she's not "officially" a princess. Only the descendants of the Queen can carry that title, although Kate will obtain it also once Prince William becomes King.
Imagine going to a job interview and introducing yourself as a prince or princess? #Goals! What do you think of their professions?
