I'm a huge DIY fan. I'm talking full-on Pinterest board addict and craft supply hoarder. I dream of one day having my own apartment just to revel in all the decor possibilities. I really love stumbling across blogs that feature design ideas, and so here is a (very small) roundup of 3 decor ideas I've favorited recently.

1. Rainbow glassware display
Elsie of A Beautiful Mess shared her progress on her rainbow glassware collection that she has been working on to display in the breakfast nook in her home. She says in her blog post that she has enjoyed “the slowness of this collection.” She gave herself a budget of $3 per piece, and $5 for really unique pieces, and typically finds them at flea markets and thrift stores. Her collection has a strong focus on pink, turquoise, and bright yellow.
2. Black and blue
Fashion Sqaud did a blog post showing the photos from a beautiful apartment styled by Saša Antić and shot by Kristofer Johnsson for Elle Decoration UK. We normally see black and white as a very chic, minimal, and classy color combination. But black and blue? These deep colors give the space a dimension greater than that of the classic B+W, and the glass bubble vases are also a unique touch.
3. Gallery wall
Madisyn Fecko posted photos of her recent gallery wall project she did in her own home on the Free People blog. As opposed to the minimal and clean gallery walls typically found hanging out on Pinterest, Fecko’s gallery wall incorporates all kinds of dimensional items such as paintings, polaroids, statues, and other knick knacks. Her advice? Follow your heart. “Things don’t have to go exactly as planned and, if you stick with your heart through the journey, you’ll end up with your own little masterpiece.”
