Another weekend, another royal wedding?
That's the case today because Princess Eugenie just married Jack Brooksbank in the St. George Chapel in an emotional and unforgettable ceremony.
The couple were engaged in January 2018 and have been together for 7 years. They were met through mutual friends at a ski resort in Verbier, Switzerland, where Jack was working at the time.
Eugenie commented more than once how excited she was with the preparations for the wedding, and far from being stressed, she said she enjoyed the beautiful feelings she felt, because the most important thing was that she would be with the person she loves.
"I'm not stressed at all," she told Vogue magazine during her pre-wedding interview."Weddings can be stressful because you want them to be perfect, but in the end you realize that you are going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else matters. There is a wonderful phrase from Maya Angelou, which I am paraphrasing, which says that "no one will remember what you said, but how you made them feel." It is about how we feel, but also about how our family and friends feel. I want it to be beautiful and fun and make us take our personality as much as possible." These quotes from her interview with Vogue are inspirational for every bride!
She wanted her family and friends to feel what they were feeling and not to stick to any royal protocol. And they did exactly that, through their gestures, their smiles and glances at each other. Despite being televised worldwide, the ceremony felt intimate and personal.
We love that!
