Pixar is responsible for some of the most compelling movie stories ever made. Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and Ice Age are some of the most memorable childhood movies for millions of people. Now, people can learn the art of storytelling directly from the masterminds behind those epic films.
Pixar teamed up with Khan Academy, and is now in its third installment of "In A Box: The Art of Storytelling." In a completely free online course, Khan Academy and Pixar movie directors and story artists share their expertise and advice for storytelling.
The course will cover variety of topics that include character development and the principles of animation. Throughout 2017, the animation giant plans to release six more episodes. Lessons will encompass videos and various activities and exercises.
