Do you love cats? Of course you do. And for cat fanatics, there can never be too many cats to pet and adore.
So naturally, this job opening on a Greek Island where you'd be surrounded by cats is a dream come true for cat people.
A beautiful and remote Greek island paradise is home to a cat sanctuary housing a large number of cats in need of a caretaker. That's why they're looking for someone to give them love, food and hang out with them ... in exchange for a salary!
The Greek island in question is called Syros and the cat rescue is called God's Little People. Whoever gets the job will be responsible for fifty-five cats, which does not seem like a bad deal at all.
Plus, the lucky hire will get to move into a home with a beautiful garden overlooking the Aegean Sea. What could be better?
The selected person will start in November, so you still have time to apply. Before starting, you'll have to prove yourself to the cats and volunteer for two or three weeks to prove yourself worthy of their affection (and that you can deal with living on a remote Greek island). After all, you need to be a cat lover willing to spend a lot of time with only felines for company, since according to the description, this job is ideal for someone who loves tranquility and does not mind that the place is very quiet in winter.
This is how the job is described in the listing - "we are located in a preserved natural area that is very quiet and quiet in winter but with more visitors and excitement in the summer. If you are the type of person who appreciates nature and likes tranquility who's comfortable with just own company, there's no doubt you'll enjoy it." That said, you will never feel alone in the company of cats and you will be expected to live with a small group of cats in your house. For cat people, it sounds like a perfect job!
